Whenever we buy banana blossom, we reserve a portion of it for vadai. We usually make vazhaipoo usili or vazhaipoo poriyal. But this vadai tastes great and can be served as tea time snack. To make crispy vadai use yellow split peas instead of channa dhal. Also adding roasted gram powder to the vadai mixture makes it even more tastier and crispier.
